This question is more appropriate for the BI Platform space. However...
Crystal Reports Versions:
Crystal Reports Enterprise: Mainly used for designing reports based on .unx universes and BEX queries. This is a java-based tool and does not have all of the features of the regular version of Crystal.
Crystal Reports 2013: The "classic" version of Crystal that we've been using for years.
Crystal Servers in BI 4.x:
CrystalReports2013ProcessingServer: Handles the on-demand processing of reports that have been written in any version of Crystal except Crystal for Enterprise.
CrystalReports2013ReportApplicationServer: Handles processing of the data for dynamic parameters in reports written in any version of Crystal except Crystal for Enterprise. Also can be used through one of the SDK's for custom Crystal processing in other applications.
CrystalReportsCacheServer: Handles report page rendering and caching for all types of Crystal reports.
CrystalReportsProcessingServer: Handles the on-demand processing of reports that have been written in Crystal for Enterprise only.
And in the Adaptive Job server, the Crystal Reports Scheduling Service handles theCrystal for Enterprise schedules and the Crystal Reports 2013 Scheduling Service handles the schedules for all other versions of Crystal.
